orochi line art

ive been meaning to post this forever
but now its finally up !!! ^^
im not too happy with the bell in general.. its too small for the body and the rock looks like a bush.
and also the tail symbols are a little messed up <_>
ack, my friend said it looks beautiful

-umm, the symbol in the bottom left is japanese for 'darkness'
the one one the bell is 'death' [im not sure what its actually suppoused to be, so i decided that it was the most suitable]
the one on the fire hat is 'fire'


-a little info on orochi, it is an eight-headed dragon, and i guess that you can say the heart is the bell. different then most of the dragons i draw.
the head in front has the little hat on, which is suppoused to be the fire symbol. the tail on the very top is water, below is electricity, below that is earth, and on the very bottom is my best effort for light.
in total there are eight heads for eight elements.
all those above in addition to poison, darkness, and wind.
i think it will be easier to tell the heads and other details a part when i color it
but this is the line art for a contest entry. this is not the final. i will make it the final though, if i dont have enough time to color it. *____*
if i got further into the game, i probably would've chosen something more challenging to draw, like ninetails.
actually, maybe something like the spider queen or the chrimson helm. that would be fun @.@

if you read the beginning, i hope you found that i said orochi is an eight HEADED dragon. Here in this picture, there is only one head. thank you obvious. while designing the head, i was only going to put three other heads, but i ran out of room.... and what do you do when you feel like there is nothing left to do except to forget about it???!!!

so instead of making the other heads, i made them tails.

yea....
besides, i dont think it would turn out too well if i made more heads anyway. i tried doing it on a previous design and it just turned out bleh....
